This level is a Minecraft re-creation of the first part of the first level in the 1999 PC game, System Shock 2. Due to a request, it has been uploaded here for public use.

I originally started this demo project in hopes that it will inspire someone else to take it to the next level of making this SS2/MC re-creation a reality.

In the download, you will find the map, "System Shock 2 Med-Sci Demo V," and the corresponding texturepack, "Mine Shock 2 - A System Shock 2 Texturepack!", as well as THIS SKIN. The texturepack would have been uploaded seperately to PlanetMinecraft, except the pack is too incomplete to do so. It is just made for this map only.

It was also an idea of mine to create a System Shock 2 texturepack for Minecraft, beacuse that would just be simply awesome, as no one has done that yet, to my knowledge. I would have done it myself, but I don't have the time, nor the resources, to make one. But feel free to expand on mine or start fresh, if you wish to make one yourself.

Like I said, I started this to hopefully inspire someone else out there (with more skill than I) to make the full version(s) of the level(s) and/or the texturepack(s). If you intend to expand on this project, I only request that you credit me with the original idea for the conversion. If you do that, then you are free to use this level, as well as the texturepack, as you see fit.
