=Story & Map Info=

=Map Version=

=How to Install=

• Download the map (Named”Minecraft Puzzle Book II”+Version)and the music resource pack (Named“Echochrome OST”+Version) from the link, If there are multiple versions, the latest.
  
• Unzip the map, put the folder in your saves folder.
  
• How to find it：
  • Go into game settings
    
  • Click”resource packs”
    
  • Click”Open resource packs folder”
    
  • Go up a level, into the .minecraft directory
    
  • Find savesfolder
    
  • Put the map folder in it
    
  • Go back in game and you can find the map
    
  
  
• If using the music resource pack, read the “Additional Music Resource Pack”part.
  
• After the installation, go in to your language settings to choose the language you wish to use, for English choose “Puzzle Item Names (US)”, for Chinese choose “谜题文字(CN)” and save.
  
• Load the map, and set the language for the map itself on the right corner of the first room (you can set it later ingame too).
  
• Step on the pressure plate, and start your journey!
  

=Rules=

• Use 1.9 and above to play, do not use snapshots.
  
• Do not abuse Vanilla game bugs, or use commands to cheat, if you find a bug, please report it to me.
  
• Use Adventure Mode to play.
  
• Play on any difficulty except Peaceful.
  
• Set your render distance to atleast 16 (Far) .
  
• Use the provided resource pack (included in the world save), and set your language.
  
• For the need of multi platform posting, the map is in both English and Chinese, please choose the language you need when playing. You need to have a considerable Minecraft knowlegde level and some parts of the map are quite difficult, be prepared.
  
• The map is designed for Singleplayer, if you want to play with your friends, please read the “Multiplayer”Part.
  

=Additional Music Resourse Pack=

• If using the resource pack, please download it from the link and install it.
  
• How to install the resource pack:
  • Click “resource packs”in your game settings
    
  • Click “Open resource packs folder”
    
  • Put the resource pack zip file in the folder
    
  • Reopen the resource pack page ingame
    
  • Load the resource pack (click the arrow on it when on left side)
    
  • Make sure both music resource pack and map resource pack are loaded (both on right side)
    
  • Save and play
    
  
  
• If not using the resource pack, please go into the in-map settings and turn off the background music (Enabled by default).
  
• If using the resource pack, please turn off the “Music”in sound settings, and enable the “Noteblocks/Jukebox”one.
  
• You might not hear anything in the first 5 mins after loading the map, then the music will play every 5 minutes.
  

=Multiplayer=

• Use the official Minecraft server（Do not use Bukkit, Spigot, Cauldron etc.）and make sure you have the right version.
  
• If a player is already in a level (ones that you can access from the pressure plates), others shouldn’t join before the puzzle getting solved or the player in it failing to solve it, if you do so, the puzzle will get reset and need to be solved from stratch (If you try to access a in-progress level, you’ll get a warning). If you want to solve one puzzle together, you need to go in at same time (All players within 3 blocks of the pressure plate will get teleported upon activation) or use the /tp command.
