Here is one of my first attempts at a modern style house. the front facade was modeled after a real home but I cannot find the picture I used as a basis. The rest is all made up by me. There are two other small buildings that can be seen from the main house. I tried to blend the houses into the surroundings, the one was actually built in a cave that I found just across the way from the first house I built. The last one is more colorful, but is built on an angle that followed the hill side and water line to get a cool look. You'll see it, it kinda looks like a poverty Sydney opera house crossed with bright carnival colors lol.
