"Uh... yeah, work is really hard n' stuff but I get to manufacture rad Monsters and drop 'em like bombs on the other company to earn industry domination. So that's cool."

~ Donovan, 35, worker in the Monster Industry.

You new here, huh? Here’s a simple 5-step guide to getting started with Monster Industries:

1. Move back and forth on a pressure plate to sign Papers. Yeah, you got that right. If you were under the impression that working in the Monster Industry would be all tree-chopping and dirt-digging, you’d better think again.
.

2. Do other small, repetitive tasks to gather the 4 other resources: Coal, Gunpowder, Bone and Spider Eyes. Pointless? Boooring? NO! Put those thoughts in the garbage can along with your scepticism, and keep on reading.

3. Use papers and resources to produce Monster Eggs. At this diverse production facility, you have access to a wide variety of mobs such as Creepers, Skeletons, Blazes, Ghasts and more. All of them have specific resource costs.

4. Infiltrate the rival company with your newly-created Monster armies, and do everything you can to sabotage their production. They, of course, will try to do the same thing to you! The companies are separated by a wall so employees can’t pass through, but you can still discharge monsters onto the other side! Of course, the wall is made of see-through glass you can enjoy the sight of destruction.

5. Win the game by having your company’s stock value rise to 1000, and thus earning domination over the Monster Industry. Each time one of the rival company’s employees die, your stock rises by 100. Supplement this by trading in your Papers 1:1 for stock, and the path to victory is clear!

AND ALSO:

- Use Papers to buy weapons, armor and food to better prepare you from upcoming Monster invasions.

- Upgrade your resource production, so you can build bigger armies quicker.

- Buy slave workers to sign Papers for you!

- Employ business strategies that even executives only speak of in whispers.Infect the other company's employees with disease! Shut down their power supply! Destroy the pipings and flood their building with water! And more!

- Name your monsters, to give your enemies a more personalized hell.

MORE INFO:

- 2 teams control two companies: Creeper Corp. and Ender Enterprises! Choose the number of players yourselves.

- Difficulty hard, so each monster attack is more devastating.

- Respawn when you die, and keep all your items to make the game experience more fluid.

- New blocks and features from 1.8!

- Spectate games with the new spectator mode!

No mods required! :)

NEW STUFF

- All credit goes to Mr Foogy who made quite possibly one of the greatest Minecraft side games of all time.

- Other than that, here are the changes made to make the game smoother and more balanced

1. CALL THE COPS foul tactic is now 200 stock instead of 175 stock and summons cops that give paper. this removes the strategy of using CALL THE COPS over and over to gain an edge.

2. HIRE THE THIEVES foul tactic is now 175 stock instead of 100 stock. Hire the thieves was a consistent annoyance to deal with and made the game more sluggish. This change makes HIRE THE THIEVES more of a tactical option rather than a brain dead one. There is also added shop level 2 which creates more expensive inventories.

3. CUT THE WIRES foul tactic now gives blindness to the other team. This gives the one time use CUT THE WIRES some use in a game where cutting the lights doesn't affect that much.

4. SMASH THE PIPES foul tactic now can be used twice instead of once. The most hated thing about monster industries is smashing pipes so why not add even more of it. Along with this I have added a way to fix the pipes via shop 2. This way it is more annoying if you ignore and less annoying if you take the time to fix it. Another effect of this tactic is that it teleports guardians to the water so that they are more effective. This simple change actually takes guardians from F tier to S tier all by itself.

5. There is now a new room called sacred tactics. This room is unlockable via redstone_torches acquired in the upgrade room. This room allows access to a bunch of new offensive techniques that create more usage for other mobs in the game besides skeletons and witches

6. TELEPORTATION is the first sacred tactic. It costs 25 stock and teleports the enemy team to their paper generators. This also gives them some 40% damage resistance. This prevents camping in safe places to stall out the game. It also adds strategy like with creepers where you can teleport the enemy into creepers to surprise attack them.

7. GREAT FAMINE is the second sacred tactic. It gives slowness and hunger to your opponent for only 25 stock, but only for a few seconds. In combination with TELEPORTATION can lead to a nasty combo. Keep in mind that you only get 100 stock for every kill. Using these tactics effectively makes kills easier to get but less rewarding.

8. RABBIT REVENGE is the third sacred tactic in the level 1 area. It costs 50 stock but summons killer rabbits that do insane damage. This option allows for some more mob variety and to add more ways to deal heavy damage.

9. COVID-19 is the first tactic in the level 2 room. It gives poison and wither to your opponent whilst giving them near infinite damage. This option is meant to provide a way to close out games where your opponent is just using golden apples over an over to survive attacks. It costs 75 stock but in a game where only one kill is needed to win, it can be useful.

10. MOB MUTATION is the most powerful tactic of them all. It costs only 50 stock and provides more health and speed to all mobs on your opponent's side. This buff gives extra effects to mobs that aren't very powerful on there own like Slimes, Blazes, and Ghasts. Its buffs are less useful for mobs that are already powerful like Skeletons, Witches, and guardians.

11. "WAAAAAAR" is the last tactic in the level 2 room. It costs 200 stock and unlocks ender pearls for both sides. This is meant to be a last resort option where the only way to win is to fight to the death. You can buy an ender pearl for 3 stacks of any monster resource to teleport to your opponent for some one on one combat. You can steal their paper and do anything you want. there are many flaws however. With spawn protection buffs it is difficult to win consistent fights. You also aren't allowed to enter areas where you could activate tactics using your opponents stock. Then they could clear your inventory or do a variety of things. "WAAAAAAR" has lead to some hype combacks but it is rare to see it used to its fullest potential with how difficult it is to pull off.

12. Onto some basic changes the first of which is some comback mechanics. When you die, you will recieve regeneration automatically after coming back. You can also enter the painting instead of leaving the bedroom to click a button. This button teleports you to the shop with resistance and strength to clear out enemies. This makes the game much more enjoyable to play as it is tougher to snowball with mobs on the field and gives a fighting chance to those who are behind.

13. Mobs like Ghasts, and Blazes have had their cost reduced on top of the buffs that they already recieve from MOB MUTATION. This is to make them more viable especially in team modes as end game mobs in tight games. In 1v1 matches, they have their use but are way tougher to utilize.

14. There are two new mobs. Silverfish and Spiders. Spiders provide a nice buff to the weakest resource in spider eyes. They cost 2 spider eyes and 4 paper per spawn egg found in the toilet. They work very well with the new CUT THE WIRES buff to cut off the lights and allow spiders to aggro on opponents. Silverfish are added to the coal resource to give them a buff. Silverfish have different AI then endermites and don't despawn in 2 minutes like endermites do.

15. There are a bunch of new secrets and easter eggs throughout the map to make things a little more interesting. None of them provide any significant advantage but it is satisfying to utilise one of these easter eggs to do something you might not have been able to do before.

16. Too many bugs have been patched to count. Everything from using minecarts to travel to your opponents side to some more obscure mechanics like glitchy deaths and stock glitches.

17. Bone generator has been nerfed so that you have to take your time when flicking the lever to recieve the full amount of bones. You just got bones too quickly with the right techniques but for those you just flick the lever like a normal person it doesn't change at all.

18. Trap doors have been added to the mob dispatchment chambers. These provide two utilities. Your opponent recieves a sound cue when you spawn mobs and they help prevent silverfish and endermites from running back to your side.

19. A strategy book containing useful information has been added to the chest where slaves generate paper. This evens the playing field and allows new people to access information without wasting resources.

20. Various new cheat codes to make the game a little more personalised. To activate cheat codes. click the join spectator team twice. Make sure the message pops in chat that you joined spectator twice. To activate solo wither capabilites click to join spectator then run to click the sacred tactics on button. Remember to do this after clicking the spectator button twice to activate cheat codes. To activate accelerated starts, click the ender enterprise button the spectator button. To activate the Troy clause, click the spectator button then the creeper corp button.

21. There are some extra starting resources put in to give a quicker start to each game

22. Shop 2 can be accessed by buying a redstone torch and placing it the toilet. it will unlock pistons that fire to launch you to a new area. You can buy diamond armor, swords, bows, potions, and most importantly: pipe cloggers. These pipe cloggers can be placed at the source of a pipe leak to stop the water flow to fix the pipes.

23. If you don't like any of the new features, you can turn them off before the game starts by clicking the buttons designated to turn the toilet off or on. You can also do the same for sacred tactics. You can even specifically deactivate the ender pearls if you don't like the idea of close range fights.

That should be a majority of the new changes. Thanks to Mr Foogy again who is such a great guy. He had some amazing ideas and the map design is great. Instead of reinventing the wheel, it makes sense to keep everything as close as possible to the original whilst fixing the issues that have come up. These changes lead to faster games with more diverse strategies and techniques whilst still keeping all the old things that you love about the original monster industries map. If you look hard enough, you might even find some things that have been added back in that Mr Foogy took out. :)
