Mount Ionnes
The story began when the gods came to this world.. It was flat and uninhabited, desolate and barren. There was no life, no beauty, no existence. However, Lufir, the god who appreciated all things beautiful and lively, decided to take this barren land and use it as his canvas to bring to existence his beauty and grace. He erected mountains out of the ground, and created vast meadows and forests, and the large bright oceans of beauty equal only to that of the purest sapphires.
Once Lufir was finished bringing this dead world to life, he sat back and watched in delight as his brother, Ionnes began to bring life to the land that his brother had made... The natives, known as Ionnians began to appear, as if from dust they came, and began to inhabit the lands.
Knowing that they were given a gift of life by the god Ionnes, the Ionnians called the mountain that Lufir made, Mount Ionnes, and began to build shrines and temples to his honor, and the two gods were very pleased and quite in love with their new world, and the people who lived there. The world was at peace, and things flourished, knowledge came fast and the people began to learn about technology. ....
However..
When the world seemed to be so happy, the third brother to the gods, Jakarta, began to feel envious of his brothers... He had instilled the notions of pride and battle into the beings who lived on the planet, but they didn't seem to be troubled by prideful notions, and were too peaceful for battle... In his jealousy, he began to plot ways to turn the people against their two beloved gods, and little did Ionnes and Lufir know, he would be successful.
The Ruins of Thadolis
As Jakarta began to turn the humans against their gods, he took reign and disguised himself as one of them, becoming quickly known as King Thadolis. He took over the mountain and sat at the top every day and night, ruling over the lands as a beloved yet benevolent king. Though what he was doing was much less subtle in the eyes of the other brothers as they saw him teaching the humans about war, and genocide, and how Lufir and Ionnes were simply holding them back, and how they could evolve so much more and grow so much more..
Thus magic was given to the humans.
