How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

Here you go!
This is a small 1k map wich I made to see if I'm still able to produce custom terrains.
Since I liked it a lot I decided to share it here.

I really like the blocky irregular shape of the mountains, they are very detailed even in default resource pack.

You used Worldmachine. Obvious sign of that is at 2nd picture when you have a 2 block high line cutting through the terrain. My guess is that you shrunk the heightmap, that's why this problem comes about. Still don't know how to fix it though...

He could have just as easily used a flatten tool on worldpainter with a low intensity :P

That's not the most elegant solution, or the best though :P I've had that line too, can't you simply make the world height a multiple of 256 - that is, instead of the default 2625 put it at 2550 or something? I've done this with recent maps and it seems to work, but I'm not certain, sometimes it just doesn't show up too.

Ah well then. I do see some biome painting and and degrees, neither of which are noobish techniques, so it appears this guy has done his studying (If he is new at all), but regardless, good map

Did you put in the snow manually or use biomes?

Also, which resourcepack did you use?

The scenery looks fantastic, I'd definitely retire here lol.
