This is my undertaking/attempt to recreate the Pokemon Fire Red map, with up-to-date tech for minecraft. (work in progress) I am open to suggestions, comments, or even help, it's not a small map and I am the only one working on it. *Update 4/8/13* Map currently on standby until I can get a new gameboy :/ or a gridded map. OR a helper, a helper would most DEFINITELY be appreciated.

Interesting choice of blocks. Do you really need the glass everywhere? In my opinion, it takes away from it a little. It looks cool, I'll say that.
btw, did you know that the man in Viridian City that blocks you at first, in the Japanese version, was actually drunk?

It looks different in the texture pack I am using, and the glass is to prevent rain or snow from altering the city and to keep mobs like spiders out. It is set up like that because I am going to have mobs as the gym leaders and the difficulty setting has to be on. and yes lol I knew he was drunk
