I have loaded the world 2000 blocks in all directions and linked all 21 villages with a nether portal system on the roof of the nether.

Loading the seed in 1.18 will get an entirely different world generation so use this preloaded world and then update to 1.18 to get the new world generation beyond the borders. To be clear, I don't just mean the world will be generated with increased world height and depth, I mean that biomes and structures are going to be generating completely differently. All the old seeds are going away..

I have hidden a treasure hunt using loadstones and compasses that will take you on a long trip around the map to some beautiful and potentially dangerous locations, with increasingly valuable rewards along the way!
