You and your friend are two strangers drawn to Solastalgia Rentals, a renowned resort promising to erase all past traumas. However, as you wander the endless hotel corridors searching for your rooms, a creeping realization sets in: something here is deeply wrong...
Inspired by liminal spaces, this map combines an eerie atmosphere with challenges like parkour, puzzles, and exploration. Because teamwork is essential, I highly recommend playing with a friend while using voice chat. Don't be afraid to take your time, progress slowly, and pay close attention to your surroundings.
Who knows, maybe then you will be able to achieve your goal and finally find... peace?
❗ A FEW WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE MAP ❗
— This is my first map, so I welcome any feedback. Because of this you might run into a few bugs or puzzles that feel a bit weird or confusing. In other words, if you spot anything broken or just have questions, definitely let me know so I can fix it up!
— Make sure you play the map in Adventure mode!
— I originally started making this as a normal puzzle and challenge map, but halfway through, I became very captivated by liminal space vibe (like the Backrooms) and changed the theme a little. You'll definitely notice things shifting in that direction as you go deeper.
— Tiny spoiler warning: When you get to the "village" location, please don't quit the map until you're done with that section. It can break the redstone and get you permanently stuck. If that happens, you can save your run by typing /fill -34 49 255 -34 49 255 redstone_torch in the chat.
