On the island on the far far corner of Soria, strange magic makes mushrooms grow to enormous size. It's not a very friendly environment, don't stray for too long, or you may turn into a mushroom yourself!

This island is the spawn of Soria, the adventure map I'm making.

It was a pain to make the big mushrooms, but it was worth it.

If yo have any suggestions on how I might improve, please leavea comment.

I noticed with the mushroom u used the apropriate sides and im big into minecraft custom mushroom as im currently workign on a custom map and mod but i have one thing to ask for u to do what u did with right sides did u use mcedit or sniper o what coz i love doing this and using the right sides would be so much better than what i was currently doing wich was i was using the damage that makes it so the mushroom textures on all sides but if there is an easier way then id like to kno thnx for ur time

If you want to save yourself the trouble you can copy the mushrooms with MCEdit, as long as you credit me. But since you are making your own mod/custom map I don;t think you want that =P.

I used MCEdit to make the form of the mushroom and then copied and pasted every single block from the original minecraft mushroom to my custom design. Took me a few hours to do. But now MCEdit has all the different blocks the mushroom is made of you can speed it up a little.

So in short yes I did use MCEdit, and you should experiment a little with the blocks, because if I would make a tutorial for this, it would be a big one.

ya thats what i thought thnx anyway if you wanna check out my old mushroom pack here it is i have since been making a newer better pack. i discovered how to use mushroom textures in septemebr like a day after 1.8s release but i feel like not many ppl know its secret anyway yeah heres my pack www.planetminecraft.com/project/epic-mushroom-pack/

if you hadn't noticed, I was commenting on all your stuff, so it raises in popularity and more people get to see it. This is really great stuff.
