Corinthian helmet - a type of ancient Greek helmet, was common in the VI-V centuries. BC e. It was named after the city of Corinth in the Peloponnese, where the production of such helmets was developed. The warriors of Sparta, the neighbors of Corinth, also preferred this completely closed helmet, which is why there is a second name: Dorian (the Spartans belonged to the Dorian tribe).
