Introducing SS CRISTOFORO COLOMBO in Minecraft!

This is a 1:1 scale build of the Italian Liner SS Cristoforo Colombo! This build features her First, Cabin, & Tourist Class interiors.
***This build is in her late Cruising Career***

A few things to Note about this build:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion.
2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build, so some areas may not actually resemble the actual thing.
3) This build does not feature cabins, engine rooms, or crew member spaces. There is dead space unfortunately, but I try my best to accurately recreate the popular venues onboard. All builds primarily focuses on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc).


Short history of the SS Cristoforo Colombo
SS Cristoforo Colombo was an Italian Ocean Liner that was built in 1953 at the Ansaldo Shipyards of Genoa, Italy and had her Maiden Voyage in 1954. She was the sister to the Ill-fated SS Andrea Doria that collided with the MS Stockholm and sank on July 26, 1956. After the incident, SS Cristoforo Colombo was given a new running mate, the SS Leonardo Da Vinci. She continued her service and started doing cruises in the Mediterranean in the 1970s. However, as the economy changed and her expenses kept piling up, she was proving to be unprofitable. By the early 1980s, she was pulled from service and was laid up. She was sold in 1982 to Kaohsiung and was soon broken up. Ending her 29 year long life.
