everything you should need is all around you all you have to do is get to it so you better start mining, enchanted wood pick is in the chest next to the button
it's generated on superflat so there should be more ruined villages out there somewhere you just have to find them
don't lose your pick before you get to the trees or else you will need to redownload a fresh save!
