This Minecraft Adventuremap is based on the movie "The Maze Runner"
(This map can be played both, locally (LAN) and on servers)

"Together we need to escape what the gladers call "THE MAZE"...
At least that's what they tell me all the time...
I have no idea what's going on. Many of them seem to live normally...
A 'normal' life...
Some of them said I need to help them grow vegetables...
Others told me I should help them to look after the cattle...
They said I should adapt to them, otherwise the labyrinth would slowly but surely devour me...
So they said...
No matter how hard I try to adapt to them ... Building up a life ... It just does not work...
Not as long as those massive walls are in my way...
Not as long as I see the runners disappear day after day, one by one ...
Over and over again...
We need to find a way out... [...]"

On the map...
... the gates close when it dawns...
... the Code gets generated randomly when first players enter the glade...
... the players arrive in a fully functional elevator that leads to the glade...
... ,when the stars show themselves, the walls inside the maze move... Some close... Some open...
... Grievers roam the dark corridors, constantly searching for prey... And I'm not joking...
Be careful...
... you have to decide together with other players who takes over which role...
(Who becomes a RUNNER and explores the Maze together with other players?
Who becomes a FARMER and agrees to take care of the food?
Who becomes an ARCHITECT and builds the accomodations for the players?
And so on...)
- ...everything works with commands and code... Everything. The maze can even repair itself in some parts if something wrong happens...
And MUCH more... You can do almost everything you can see in the movie...

(the map is large and complex, many thinking individuals are required)

- If you play on a server, make sure Command Blocks are turned ON -

- Make sure you play on Minecraft Version 1.12.1 (higher Versions like 1.13 CORRUPT the world!)! -

2. Make sure NONE of the players are using modified Clients!
3. Enjoy the map!
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The first thing you will see when you load the map is the lobby.
A place where many people can wait at the same time.
To start your adventure you simply need to find the wooden button and press it...
Only three players can use the elevator at once...
Crops and vegetables can be planted by throwing them on farmland,
they can be farmed by using the garden hoe.

2. Press the buttons 'Windows + R'
3. Type in %appdata% and press 'Enter'
4. Open .minecraft
5. Extract the folder inside "The Maze" folder from the .zip file into
the "saves" folder

If you want to play on a server:
Simply upload the folder to the server (NOT the .zip file), rename it to something easy like "Maze" so the server knows which world to load (world name can be edited in the properties.json).
Admin should set the worldspawn to the lobby beneath the map (-10, 4, 12), so all players join at those coordinates and not randomly.
About the code:
It generates randomly as soon as you start the map by pressing the button in the lobby. It has nothing to do with the code in the movie. You can find out the code by finding out the algorithm of the sectors... Easy, right?
2. Im assuming that the code is the sequence of the maze like in the movies. I tried it in a LAN world.. and the code never worked even when i typed it in 100% correctly. I was playing in 1.12.1, is there a potential reason why this is happening? i enabled commmand blocks. and the doors not closing event never happened either... Plz Help
