The Tower of Ironguard, is the seat of the Archmagus of Lothien who is the magical adviser to the Emperor. The tower itself is old but repurposed when the current Archmage took up residence. The name itself is derived from the rich iron deposits found on the isle on which the tower sits. Legend tells a darker story; however in which dark rituals were once practiced in the region, particularly in deep caves under the tower. Ironguard is located relatively close to the Capital, across the water of Beaumont Bay. Ironguard is the center of the current crisis in the world of Lothien as it was the practice of the dark arts by the Archmage himself which caused the dimensional rifts all across the Empire
