This landscape map is the future map to my current project, Arcmedes Hold.
The name of the land is Wintercast. It is in some ways inspired by the landscape of Skyrim, a game which I certain you all are familiar with. I plan on updating this map every few days. This is a very early release, but I just want to give people a taste of what the land of Wintercast will be like.

Between school, studying for the SAT's, and Arcmedes Hold, I won't be updating this as much as I had originally hoped to. I plan to get an update out at least once a week.

I'm looking for someone to help me in getting some nice photos for this map. Sadly, my computer doesn't have the power to run shaders and I'm looking for someone who does and could take pictures of the map for me. I would include your name in the description and send you exclusive map dev. versions I have for the help. So if you want to help, just message me. You could also send me some pictures if you want without applying.

MOUNTAINS:
-Lowered the snow level slightly
-Moved pine trees up the slopes slightly
PLAINS:
-Added Twin Lakes which is located for the most part in the middle of the plains
-Improved tree areas
-Added hills of varying size on the plains/river border and on the western edge
-Added more snow towards the north along with a sort-of-frozen lake
-Added cobblestone path around the spawn via World Painter
OCEAN:
-Added islands over to the east side
ISLANDS:
-Added them
TREES/NATURE STUFF:
-Added/improved the tree patched throughout the plains
-Stretched the pine trees up the slopes of the mountains and out into the plains
BIOMES:
-Improved the spotyness of them between the snow and non-snow biomes
-Added snow mountains biomes to the mountains that apparently didn't have that on them
NEXT UPDATE:
-Improvements on the river
-Improvements to the new islands
-Minor changes and fixes for preparation with the merge
PLANNED FEATURES:
-There is most likely only one more update before the merge. Therefore I do not plan anything major anymore for this map.
