Welcome to CursedPlanet, a brand new server with a brand new concept. We are the first of our kind!

Are you tired of playing the same, old and repetative games? Are Factions, HCF, Mini-Games etc. overdone? Don't worry, you've found the right server. With multiple custom plugins, we present to you; CursedPlanet.

The gameplay is based of the survival gamemode, but there is a massive twist. The world is cursed. When you break a block, you never know what you will get. This gives you a new challenge. Not only will you have to be lucky, but you also need to plan how you handle your inventory spaces. To keep everything balanced, this feature is only applied to a selection of blocks.

When playing, you need to be careful. As soon as the nighttime falls, you will lose the ability to regenerate. The darkness is here to get you. Though, there is a savior. When daylight comes, you will regain your lost ability.

The team at CursedPlanet are a small group of friends from across the globe. We have worked hard on this server. It is a serious project, so we have invested both time, love and money into making this as good as it can get, with both paid and 100% custom plugins. We are experienced in management and staff-handling, so you can expect top notch quality.

My name is Hgbf, and I am the owner of CursedPlanet. I have been the one to push this project, all the way from the start to now. Some of my own money has been invested in bringing you the best experience possible. I have played minecraft since 2012 and is most known for my two maps released on Minecraft Realms (Palette Paint and Palette Slam).

The lead Developer here is HangarGeek. He has helped with developing the custom anti-cheat, along with a few other plugins. Without him, we wouldn't have been here today

Our two administrators are RPoule and Pandaa.

Pandaa is an experienced server owner, who previously worked on a server of his own. That project was later abandoned. He is partly responsible for the advertising of CursedPlanet.

RPoule is our community manager. He is the main link between the players (you) and the developers. If you apply for staff, RPoule will be a big part in the reviewing process.

Our goal is to make the best possible server, for the best possible playerbase, without using any overused game concept. Factions, Towny, HCF etc. are all great, but there are already thousands of servers where you can play those at. We are the only one of our kind.

On CursedPlanet, we have two different rank systems. One of them is somewhat similar to prison ranks. The final goal for you, the player, to reach is to rank up to the 10th rank. You will earn money in three ways. The first one is just being online. It is as simple as that. The second way is by getting it from your daily rewards. These can be accessed through /rewards or the NPC in spawn. The third, and final, way to earn money is by opening crates. This is the most gainful way of earning money. Keys can be gained either through voting or by buying them from our store, store.cursedplanet.com.

On the topic of the store; We also have a range of paid ranks. These ranks are different form the ones you get in-game. Instead of just being goals, these ranks will give you some perks on the server itself. At the writing moment, there are three of these ranks. They are all named after NASA missions, and help support the server and keep it running. If we get any extra money, we will spend it on new features or advertising. Our goal is to grow the community as large as possible, without destroying the friendly feeling of the server.
