Server History
Ex Cinere Surgimus, Latin for ‘from ashes we rise, is a gaming community built by mature gamers for mature gamers. The group was founded by the remnants of the once popular Van-Craft Minecraft server that ran from October of 2010 to August 2011. The decision to shutdown van-craft came when there was a lack of donations and the community began to fall apart. The trusted members of Van-Craft decided it was time to start over and build a new community from the ground up. ECS is more than just a Minecraft server; it supports all gamers who want to play with fun people who are here to have a fun time. Our server is building a mature, strong community focused survival server, unlike some of the Minecraft servers today. We play to make amazing structures without the spawning of materials.
