About The Server:

PiratesAge-MC is a pirate-themed network. This server started out as a small factions server around June 2013. In our first month we gained a stable playerbase of around 20-25 players do to our many streamers.The server is overall, lagg free, except the BattleGrounds world, as the machine running is it 100% dedicated to the server! We currently have 3 game-modes, Factions, Creative, and the BattleGrounds. We do have Movecraft as well as Cannons. These two plugins can worlk together very nicely, in the Factions world, to allow player to have "ship battles" to give them a feeling of the pirate-themed aspect we're going for. Since there was a recent reset, now is a great time for others to join and get a head-start to give them the edge on each other. Features Of The Factions World:

This world is in progress: 100% playable, only small cosmetic things are still being added.

Factions: This is the main plugin of the world, this allows players to band together and fight other factions.

Combat Tag: Sick of players logging out just as you're about to kill them? Players who log out will have an inactive npc created of them who stands still and willingly lets you kill him/her! When the player comes back on, they will be dead, if you decided to kill the npc, with no items left!

Features Of The Creative World:

PlotMe: This is really all that's running the creative world. This plugin allows each player to claim their own plot, while protecting it from others, and build freely in creative! If your designs are good enough, you may be recruited into the build team, as we are still working.

Features Of The BattleGrounds World:

This world is a PvP mini-game, created by DARKHAWX, that we are currently testing and soon plan to convert to a plugin. Currently EVERYTHING in this world is run with redstone, so there will be lagg if your PC isn't very fast. We're sorry about this and it will be fixed once we convert it to a plugin. We do have permission to use this and use it as inspiration for the plugin we're creating as well.

General Server Features:

Referrals: We have a post about this on the site, but to sum it up it allows players to refer others in order for both people to receive rewards.

Votifier: Allows players to vote multiple times daily for the server to gain great rewards!

Reporter: Find someone who has a hacked client? Whether you're sure or not, toss in a report to our staff members! We will check everything out!

In-Game Tickets: Need help from a staff member? Sending in a ticket is a great way to get support!

No Cheat: We have great measures set to keep out members from having their experience ruined by hackers/cheaters. Use of our Report system matches with this very well.

Recruiting Workers:

If you made it this far into the thread, congratulations, and thank you for reading all of this. It did take some time. The server has gone through a recent reboot and I have lost all of the staff, save the co-owner and a single mod, from the old server. We are not only in need of staff though, we are in need of people who are good with graphics, and programming. I'd really love to give this thread a nice design, I tried to create a nice layout in Photoshop, but it's just not my talent. As towards programmers, we have some great ideas for plugins, i'm a fairly decent Java programmer myself, I have been working with the language for many years now, but I just don't have the time to learn Bukkit API. I'm going to leave a recruitment application similar to the greylist application above, below. If you're interested in joining this great project, just add and fill in the application below your greylist application.
