Are you looking for a server that will never reset? A server you can come back to throughout the years, build whatever, whenever, while not having not worry in that in a few years the map will be wiped? Pax Might just be for you.. Let me explain.
PaxMC was originally founded on an idea. An idea for better. We were tired of endlessly scrolling through Minecraft forums, reddit posts, anything just to find the needle in the haystack minecraft server. We wanted a server we could player on for 10 years straight if we wanted. So we decided to create our own. Here at the Quiet cave, you can come to expect almost all of the best QoL datapacks that are currently offered at this moment in time. From Double Shulker Drops, to SilkSpawners, VeinMiner, and my favorite, drop a stack of concrete powder in a cauldron filled with water? wala, a stack of concrete. We also include Slimefun to aid in the automation process of all the things. If you are anything like me and love redstone, you'll find a lag-free experience here for you to test you Redstone contraptions on a large scale.
Since PaxMC never resets, we strive ourselves on keeping griefers out! We use anti-griefing tools such as GriefPrevention, and WorldGuard to help keep your builds safe! We also want to preserve our main world as much as possible for the same fact that we will never reset. At /spawn, you'll be able to find Portals for every single Mining Dimension. In those worlds you are able to mine and collect ores as you please. Over time as you spend time on the server, you will gradually earn Claim Blocks, which allows you to claim more land in game. Or, you can trade Emeralds for Claimblocks! Just please do not build in any of the Resource Worlds, as they do reset once a week to keep the x2 ore spawnrates fresh.
We also have some really cool plugins, names of which are mysterious until proven otherwise. Haha kidding. Sorta. The important ones are Jobs, McMMO.., oh wait, those were in the title!... So let me tell you about our amazing custom terrain! In order to find and explore the 100 new biomes, you must travel outside of 50k x 50k, the easiest way of doing this would be using /rtp . If you stay in the 50k x 50k area, it will be vanilla 1.18 generation. The world boarder is 250k, but will gradually grow to 1m in a years time.
PaxMC is sorta small right now, but with a tight-nit community we have high hopes for a bright future. Our goal is to not only create an active Minecraft server, but an active community and group of friends as well. We are always adding more features, and love to hear feedback from our community. If you can't quite make it in-game, that's okay as we have DiscordSRV installed so you can chat across platforms.
