A Minecraft Server

We all love Vanilla Minecraft, but it often seems impossible to have the Vanilla experience on a Minecraft Server, that's not white-listed or does not have a small group of friends. The goal is to try to achieve this with a large group of people. The few plugins that are active, are used to make this experience viable, for example PreciousStones is used to allow for the protection of your base, which will be accomplished by placing a Golden Block in the center of your base to protect a radius of 8 blocks, not including the central Golden Block. Commands have been limited severely offering only those associated with PreciousStones or QuickShop. Commands will not allow you to get the Spawn, your home or to other players. DONATING, has become a controversial subject on many servers. DONATING has turned many Servers into a Pay to Win experience, where donators receive a massive advantage. The goal of this Server is to eliminate that, to not offer any additional features to donators, only the recognition of helping the server run. So band together to form communities, where you can establish markets using QuickShop and protect each other from mobs and other players. Or go out by yourself and RAID other players bases!









Rules are kept to a minimum.
1) Hacking and Cheating is not permitted and highly punishable.That includes x-ray and texture-less texture-packs.
2) Vandalizing the environment is punishable with jail time, so replant those saplings and do not let Creepers explode.
These are the server rules pvp, raiding and foul language are all allowed, but try not to be complete assholes.



The Ranks

The progression through the ranks with occur with dedication to the server, time spent on and involvement in the community. Higher ranks will come with a few added benefits, such as the ability to place more Golden Blocks for the protection of their homes and the ability of additional QuickShop. You must also recognize that most of the ranks offer no real additional benefits, rather they are their to indicate your time and dedication to the server.

Donators

Donators do not receive perks through the Donator ranks, rather they recieve the perks of the previously held rank, eg Peasant. Note that progression through the ranks continues after getting a Donator rank. Donators while get their stupid little heads on THE WALL OF FAME and get random Shout-outs.

As previously mentioned Raiding is allowed. Of course as this is not a factions server, the nature of raiding is very different. Raiders need to explode their way into your homes, but as they cannot place blocks directly outside your home, unless you build on your protected region's limit, they must produce TNT Cannons or get creepers to explode your walls. Even when they establish a preach in your walls, they cant access your chest unless they blow them up and pvp isn't enabled currently within the protected areas. As long as the Golden Block is safe so is your base, so that is a Raiders target, of course you can very easily hide that. It's a sort of Rust Style raiding but currently much more safe. Also don't worry about your QuickShop, it can't explode.
