I don't understand how some people make stuff like Golden Freddy cute. Kind of like how fan fic writers always make scout the main character in TF2 fan fics and make it ridicously dramatic when the game is hilariously impractical. When it comes to FNAF, I still don't get how certain people make it seem depressing and adorable when it comes to drawings.
Golden Freddy is creepy...

I understand your point and agree with you. Five Nights at Freddy's is of course a creepy / scary  game. Although, since you know what Five Nights at Freddy's is, its very likely that you read some of the theories, right?? As you probably know by now, the animatronics are haunted by the souls of the children that went missing, AKA stuffed into the the animatronics. That means that they are all really kids.
 Im not going to waste your time explaining my theory on the game, but I picture the animatronics as just children seeking revenge. I made the skin "cute" because of that. Im sorry if this doesen't seem like what you think Golden would look like, but there are plenty of other Golden Freddy skins out ther. So, if you want, you can look for one you think fits the character more.

The whole "haunted" theory is kind of untrue. Yes, the children were stuffed into the suits (The cause of the blood and mucus. Golden Freddy in the second game also has dry blood coming out from his empty eyes.), but they are likely dead or almost dead due to Chica and Bonnie's human-like moans. But they're just stuffed in. Nothing else, really. Golden Freddy is a whole new creepy thing all together. It has been proven that he is not a hallucination, so he is real, but his laugh does not sound like a almost dead child. (It can be heard in the first game) 

But I do think that this skin actually kind of fits Golden Freddy since his laugh is so child-like. Take Freddy's laugh and speed it up to get Golden Freddy's laugh. You'll get the sound of a happy female child. So, I can see what you're trying to depict. :D
