I'm so cold.
And I'm not talking "hot chocolate and ice skating" cold, I'm talking "I can feel my goddamn blood freezing" cold.
Ever since that bomb dropped and the sun disappeared, everything has become a frozen over hell. I guess I'd find that mildy ironic if I wasn't so busy trying to remember how to breathe.
Nothing hurts any more, at least. Or maybe it does, I wouldn't really know. The cold is numbing both physically and mentally, at this point. I can feel a layer of frost wherever my skin is exposed, and can hardly feel half of my face.
The cold stops me from bleeding too much, I guess that's one good thing.
That tussle with the scavenger the other night has left it's mark though, and the scar on my stomach is still raw. At least I can walk on my right leg again, but I'm going to leave the bandage on for a bit longer. God knows an infection is just what I bloody need right now.
I still can't see through my left eye. I'm glad there's no mirrors around, I really don't want to know what I look like by this point.
My foot feels like it's going to fall off. I really wish I hadn't lost my shoe the other day.
It's not much but it kept some of the warmth in, at least. My hand isn't much better off either, and I swear my whole left side is frozen solid.
At least I'm able to keep my head warm, so I can still form a coherent thought. Don't know how much longer that's going to last though.
I'm not going to write much longer tonight. My arm still hurts like hell where I got clipped with that bullet.
I don't know how many more entries there's going to be. I might survive another 5 years, or I might get killed in my sleep tonight. I don't know and honestly, by this point I almost don't care. I can't call this living, really. I'm just existing.
I'm going to try and get some sleep now.
