There once was a rule in the Sonoran Desert: “If you carry a gun in an Apache settlement, prepare yourself, because you are about to become a feast for ants”.

When someone disobeyed the rule a warrior would take his scalp and he would bury him in the sand with the head out of the ground.

There he would observe the beasts of the desert feasting on his flesh.
