Before you read, I wanted to make a fire Goddess because I LOOOVE fire. I guess you could call me a pyro? lol @_@ I know it's pretty generic, but hey, do what you love! :) I hope you enjoy! Please feel free to give a diamond if you like :) o ¥

Many years ago, when the Earth was created, the Gods and Goddesses watch their precious planet flourish. Many of them loved watching their Earth become a bountiful place for man to live, however, some of Gods wanted full reign of power and began to start rivalries of their own. One rival in particular was between Akari, the Goddess of Fire, and her "twin" sister, Nira, the Goddess of Ice.

Being the jealous sister of the two, she hated how her sister was so interested in the humans below. She decided to eradicate them and her sister. She conjured up massive blizzards on land to prevent them from hunting, froze the vast oceans so they couldn't fish, and even filled the sky with dark clouds to block the sun from shining through.

Her sister, Akari, tried everything to counter her sister's malicious ways. There was so much ice, she would have to send down fire to melt it away, but she feared doing this would burn the people she cared so much about. Akari knew she had to stop Nira, but being her sister, she simply couldn't kill her. Akari decided to strip her sister of her icy powers and give her the ultimate punishment.

Their sibling rivalry lasted several days, but eventually Akari came out victorious. Because Nira's heart was so full of hatred, jealousy, and evil, she was no match for her sister. Once Akari vanquished her sister's powers, her punishment was to live out her remaining days as a mortal and forever watch her sister in the sky above.

Because the Goddess of Ice was so relentless as she attacked Earth, her icy weather still lingers around, however, it is not nearly as strong as it once was. Akari can now safely and easily warm the atmosphere without harming any life below.
