He used to have it all. He had a family. A nice car. A large house. Friends. All that you would want. But a plague had spread across the city he lived in. The terrible disease had started to kill off most of the surrounding area. The city was eventually quarrantined, no going in or out. Few people inside the city was completely immune to the mysterious plague. He was one of them. But, unfortunately for his family, they were not. He tried all that he could to prevent them from getting the disease, but it was inevitable. First, his wife had died, causing him to become severely depressed. By the time his children had gotten infected too, he was too sad to do anything. He no longer wanted anything. Everything and everyone he knew dearly floated away slowly, slowly.... until they were gone.
He now wanderers around the deserted town, ravaged by the plague. Lugging all that remains important to him in his bag, he now wears a mask, half broken, to try to hide his emotions, and tries to hide the rest of his face with his hood, out of shame of not helping his children. The mask shows a somewhat angry face. He tries to be angry at himself, but cannot express it in no otherway than through the mask. All he can do is cry.
Inside, he can no longer feel nothing but sadness, regret. He has nothing to feel happy about.
There's nobody around anymore. Only scavengers looking for valuables lost in the ruins. There's no friendly people to talk to. No family to have fun with. He's alone.
Alone.
