The Fyrd was a type of early Anglo-Saxon army that was mobilised from freemen to defend their shire, or from selected representatives to join a royal expedition. Service in the Fyrd was usually of short duration

Armory: From top to bottom, a viking birka cap, a sage brown dye'd linen tunic, leather belt fitted around the waist,
dark green wraps to keep it tight around the ankle and good ol turn shoes for his feet.

Im thinking of making a fur trimmed variant, soon.
