John Whitehold is an exlorer, an extreme one.

He saw deserts, oceans, forests, and now he is in the North Pole looking for an arctic base that hasn't been giving news about its researches for months. He has to find it, and see if their scientists are still safe and alive.

He has really heavy but modern hot keeping jackets, similar to the ones used by the fireforce, but modified to keep the heat inside and protect from the extremely strong and cold wind of the Pole, which feels like a knife cut on the skin.

Only a very small portion of his face is exposed, to keep contact with air since his exploration journeys keep him out for various hours.

He has a team of 10 people, following him in turns: 5 people go at a time with him, because no one else is able to stand what he stands.

They got to the Pole on a icebreaker, they built a temporary camp, and move with two snowcats and six snowmobiles, all equipped with water and food.

Will he find the lost scientists? Are they still... Alive?
