We've detected something extremely unusual inside the north glacier today. Our instruments read it as a metallic mass weighing about 780 lbs (353 kg). Analysis will begin when our schedule allows.

We've drilled through the glacier and attempted to break off a sample piece, but none of our tools can damage the artefact. Composition scans were performed but results are inconclusive.

The Artefact has been completely uncovered and will be transported to the lab for further testing. It appears to be a prehistoric machine, likely extraterrestrial in origin.

Transportation completed. X-ray imaging clearly shows a highly advanced internal structure. Appears undamaged. The artefact is shown to be about 300,000 years old. Various World Governments notified about its discovery.
