This is a yukata kimono (summer festival kimono) I made for august. The color combination I've used is called "aoi" and it is good for summer (https://wafuku.wordpress.com/2011/05/15/japanese-colour-names-seasonal-combinations/). The pattern on the yukata features very pink morning glory (asagao). The kanzashi in her hair are pampas grass (itosusuki, artistic pixel freedom taken). The hanhaba obi is wrapped in tsunodashi musubi. With tsunodashi musubi you are required to use obiage (as far as I know) but I've just tucked it under the obi here.
The hair is done in the traditional shimada hairstyle. The collar is folded with the left side overlapping the right (as it should) and the back of the collar is pulled down to reveal the nape of the neck. I've also made a faint line under the obi to indicate an ohashori fold. And finally I've made her wear wooden geta without tabi socks, as should be done with yukata.
Kimonos are a hobby of mine and I hope I've gotten most of the details right! ^___^
