A creature magically created and transformed by the followers of Dagoth Ur, and the lowest minion in the legions of ash creatures. They appear to be Dunmer which have had their upper face (eyes and nose) carved out, leaving a hollow space. Note that despite being called a "Zombie", this creature is not undead. Their dialogue, if you are able to calm them, is pleading for Dagoth Ur to talk to them and let them sleep:
"WHERE ARE YOU, LORD? We cannot hear you.... SPEAK to us! PLEASE!"
and:
"What are you? Where is this place? I'm so tired, LET ME SLEEP!"
"WHERE ARE YOU, LORD? We cannot hear you.... SPEAK to us! PLEASE!"
and:
"What are you? Where is this place? I'm so tired, LET ME SLEEP!"

Great skin, btw. Love TES, and Morrowind was quite possibly the best. (I haven't played Skyrim yet, but it looks pretty amazing as well.)
