Butch is one of the main characters in Quentin Tarantino's crime film Pulp Fiction.

Butch lost his father in the Vietnam war, around the age of 10. He has a memento of his father, a watch that his great grand father bought and wore through World War I. His grand father got it for good luck in World War II, but didn't make it. The watch was brought back by a fellow soldier. He grew up to be a boxer. He never made it to the top.
