This is Camine Rowen; a young, curious girl who lives on a small farm in Oregon. She has been living with her dad for a while now, raising up the farm as he got better, ever since her mum died. After her mother died, she was given her fortunes; a small amulet, shining of ruby and gold stones. It was a strange amulet. It mostly just sat there, sitting on Camine's dresser untill one day.. her life changed forever!

It was the middle of Fall as Camine was sitting on her bed reading a book. It was then that the amulet started to glow bright flashing colors of orange, yellow,red, and maroon. Camine jumped off her bed, startled, and stared at the stone causiously. She picked it up and it flashed the colors more slowly now, like it was reacting to her touch. The amulet then spoke to her. It was a kind of squeeky man's voice, it was saying something between, "Help.. me! Meet... at the... bunker! Pronto!". Camine's head tilted curiously. She wanted to go see what was going on, but at the same time, she didnt want to leave her dad alone. "He was only asleep", she thought, "What harm could that do?". She raced off with the amulet slipping onto her neck as she ran out the door past her sleeping father.
In a matter of seconds she reached the hidden bunker under the house. She came face to face with a short bearded man staring pecurily at her. "Are you Camine?" he asked roughly. She nodded vigorously. She was frightened as this was one of the creatures in her book, a dwarf. "Good." he muttered with pleasure. "Who are you exactly?" Camine asked cautiously. "No one important, let's just get down to business" the dwarf said sternly. "Now the reason why I gathered you here is that your world is in danger." he stated. Camine stared blankly at him "What do you mean?". "I MEAN that your world will be destroyed in 5 days by the most terrorfing creatures ever known! If you dont do anything about it and LISTEN!" he yelled at her. "Gosh.. no need to be so rood.." she sighed and added, "Why do you need me?". The dwarf nodded, "Good question, the anser to that is that you are the only one other than your mother to posses the power of peace and speaking to animals.". Camine nodded, "I still dont get it though... How am I 'spost to save the world in 5 days with no help!". He sighed, "I was getting to that, You need 5 other friends, people possessing these characteristics.". The dwarf listed to Camine 5 different traits; Kindness, Curiosity, Courage, Witt, and Tenderness. She nodded in understanding and questioned, "So... where am I going to find these people?". He gave her a map showing 5 marked locations on it, "On here." he said. "How am I to know to trust you on this, I only just met you and I dont even know your name!" she cried out. The dwarf sighed, "You can trust me, and my name is Johaven, I was a friend and guardian of your mum's". Camine smiled, "Well nice to meet you then!". "Now, if you trust me enough.. go looking for the 5 and set off on your jouney.. also Good luck!" he grunted. Camine smiles and skipped off and away from the farm, a new story just ready to be written.
