Not bad, not bad at all. I suffered in my earlier years from the same mistake you made here; when shading, make sure you contrast the different shades. I had to look at the skin very hard to see you shaded the brown regions. Instead of making the tint or darken go up/down by 1 integer, make it go up 3 or 5 instead.
