Rumor has it that many are afraid of the crooked souls who house the thousands of cats no one wants in their dark shady apartments, hidden from light and the world. And that is why I made Marisol, who is one of those shady characters.
PMC asked for a creative story, long or short, and I'll give it to them, on behalf of poor Marisol.
Alrighty, let's see what I cooked up for this month's horrific event.
September 5th was the darkest, mistiest night in all of history. It was also the night that Marisol was born. From the night of her birth she has disliked bright light, always crying when put into it and then fleeing when she stepped into it when she got older. She was a kind soul, poor thing, and loved everything and everyone with all her heart. She was especially fond of cats. Big cats, small cats, thin cats, fat cats, black cats, white cats. Many a night she could be seen in her treehouse, with hundreds, maybe thousands, of glowing eyes all around her. Those, of course, were the cats she loved and cared for, but the people could not see in the dark like her, and started to fear her and her glowing eyes. Finally at the age of 14, the town folks got so terrified that they proposed to kill her in the hopes of returning the town to it's peaceful safe state that has been lost ever since Marisol started caring for her beloved cats.
And so Marisol was forced to flee the town forever, leaving everything she loved behind. After a year of wondering she found the most lovely spot in the woods, where it was shady and just a bit dark and just a bit light. There she built a fortress, which she called the Pumpkin Hospice, after her lost cat Pumpkin. And there she lived in peace for another year, befriending a frog who became her main guard, a bat who found the berries she loved, and the lovely black kitten Ender, who became her constant companion and closest friend.
Well that was pretty long, I hope it's okay and thank you for reading! (I know it isn't very creepy, but I'm not exactly an expert of creepy writing.)
