Shortened Backstory: Emerald lived in the sealing mage camp his whole life and was always said to be a screw up and useless. In reality, he was one of the strongest mages from his camp but was never able to train his abilities. He would sometimes have bursts of his magic surge, sealing away everyone within a ten foot radius. He would constantly get yelled at and punished for these out bursts however they were never his fault. He had such strong magic and so much of it that he wasn't able to keep it contained.
  One strange thing that happened to Emerald while growing up was this weird encounter. He was in the camp's library one afternoon when a mysterious figure came in. They seemed to have a dark aura around them setting Emerald very off guard. He doesn't remember much, only feeling very dizzy and strange after wards. After the strange aura entered the library Emerald didn't have any magic out bursts from then on.
