SkinEdit (Link), and Photoshop are the programs I use. I think there's a program similar to Photoshop called "GIMP" that's free for download, but I've never used it. Lol, I was bad when I started; really REALLY BAD! (example =D)Ugh...I'm ashamed of that skin. But don't be afraid to experiment; and get comfortable trying different styles and characters. A rule of thumb I like to follow is to keep a variety of characters/designs with skins. It takes practice, but if you enjoy it as much as I do, you'll see improvements in no time!Happy Skinning!
