hakase shininome from nichijou. voiced by hiromi konno in the japanese sub. voiced by jad saxton in the english dub. if she doesn't get her way, she will throw a tantrum. she is eight years old, but appears she has already graduated. she usually blames sakamoto for her mistakes. she created nano and adds more devices to her that are usually very useless. she lives in the shininome household with only sakamoto, nano, and a number of her other inventions. she has a passion for sharks, and she usually draws shark pictures when not working on various inventions. she loves to eat snack foods, although her favorite food is omelette rice. hakase appears to be afraid of dogs because she fears one might bite her.
