This bizarre, owl-like figure can be found in the infamous right panel of Hieronymus Bosch's famous triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights.
In the right panel of the triptych is an absolute nightmare, a vision of Hell itself! What's normally a small and common household object is now a giant foreboding instrument of torture (and I do mean that literally, musical instruments are depicted). Demons and monsters appear as bizarre hybrid animals (a good majority having avian features). And sinners are left naked in absolute terror, being used for many "tasks", such as slaves or FOOD.
One such demon does just that, devouring damned souls (who I suspect to be gluttons) whole, and excreting them out. This "Prince of Hell" has the head of an owl (a recurring motif in The Garden of Earthly Delights, as well as Bosch's other work), a round oval-shaped body, a large white cloth draped around its waist, two pots on its feet, and a cauldron on its head.
Also, Dana Terrace (creator of The Owl House) is a big fan of Hieronymus Bosch, citing him as an influence for her work.
