The Ice Climber named PoPo from the classic NES game and Super Smash Bros.Brawl/Melee.

So this character is from the NES game Ice Climber.
In it you could play as both PoPo and NaNa.*May depend on if you're playing player one or two.*
I don't think it actually said their names in it though only in SSBM and SSBB.
In this game you had to climb the mountain you were on on each of the platforms starting in a green part of the mountain then ahead was kinda orange then to the regular ice blue.
Then on one part there was a bonus round where you could collect veggies.
And while the bonus round was playing you had to hurry up to the top and get the veggie from the Terrydactyl then you would finish the level and it would go to your score page.

Then the next level would start.

Also while you're playing there are enemies such as these white monsters,baby terrydactyls,and sometimes a polar bear.
