The Rev, also known as Jimmy, was the former drummer for Avenged Sevenfold. He gained attention for his incredible skills in playing drums, piano, singing, and his work as a composer, being responsable for creating several of the band's famous songs. Even though he was considered a genius when writting songs and playing as the percussionist for Avenged Sevenfold, Rev became a highly respected drummer for his skills on the double bass drum, winning the Golden Gods Award promoted by Metal Hammer as best drummer, in 2009.
