Character Backstory

Julien Roisseau was son of Johannes Roisseau and Rose Roisseau, marquis of Romarin. He sarted his studies at the Faculty of Law, of the University of Lucrécy, and finally became a lawyer in 1723, at the age of 25.
After that, he acquired the entitlement of magistrate and dedicated his career on politics. Across the years, L'Empereur appreciated his faculties and granted him the administration of the External Affairs Ministry. In fact, thanks to Roisseau, the relationship between the Empire of Castaire and the Kingdom of Escaloña improved notoriously.

In regards to his marquisate, Romarin, he managed to increase its income and organized its internal activity, making the mining sector one of the most important ones there. Romarin also had vital routes to Castaire colonies in Borçalia, supplying this marquisate with autochthonous products from that continent. One of them is a parrot, loyal companion of Roisseau!

The player would be able to use this character when travelling to Castaire colonies, in Borçalia, where a company of Romarin soldiers defend the Imperial territories against pirates and plunderers. Julien was in charge of carrying a negotiation between Castaire and native tribes of Borçalia when these people appeared to take back the Imperial settlement.

Character Abilities (Support character)

Trap Specialist: As Julien is an expert hunter, he knows perfectly every single trick to fool his prey. When using this ability, you will incapacitate an enemy, making it easier for you to attack.

Magistrate Determination: His knowledge and wisdom inspires his allies. They acquire more power and make more damage to their enemies.

Camouflage Clothing: When feeling in danger, he camouflages himself into the leaves and bushes of the forest.

Stunning Caw: Rio, Julien's parrot, emits a sound that stuns the enemies within ten meters and makes them unable to attack or defend themselves.

Wild Tamer: Julien tames a creature nearby to help him fight against his enemies.

(Passive) Square Formation: Julien gives extra protection to three of his allies, within a range of five meters.

Character Equipment

Crossbow of Law (Epic): An extreme quality crossbow made by one of the best armourers in Castaire, Bernard Fabre.

Hunting traps (Rare): To defend the colonial territories of Castaire, Julien brought with him some hunting artifacts from Romarin. These traps captured the pirates (aka liberators) and prevented them to infiltrate into the settlement.

Camouflage outfit (Epic): His clothes had colours that couldn't be perceived by his enemies. This enabled Julien to atack from the back without being seen.

Whip of Nature (Legendary): Julien used this tool to tame wild creatures. With just one hit from this whip, the animal would follow orders of the user.
