Lt. Theodore Longbottom ; served in the Arctic Alliance from 1867 ~ 1899, the longest serving soldier to date. Born to the parents of Tony and Julia Longbottom who were later savagely killed by a pack of wild wolves, Theodore was left in the harsh conditions of the Arctic land of Hobnobia and raised by a group of polar-bears, this is where he learned all the skills necessary to survive and thrive in the wild wintry conditions of Hobnobia. Although his parents had been killed by a pack of wolves he had no hatred for the wolves, or any animals for that matter. Theodore was one with Wild Arctic, the snow at night was his pillow, the leaves off of the everlasting trees were his blanket, the bears who were like family to him. He learned how to read and write from the ancient Zumzum tribe. Theodore was always on a quest for knowledge, whether that be knowledge of how to hunt and kill or the knowledge of reading and writing. Anything he seemed to do he done it to the best of his abilities. Although he had nothing, he also had everything at the same time.
Once he was 18 he enlisted into the Arctic Alliance. This was were he could show off his true skills he had learned whilst living in the wild of Hobnobia. His job was to protect the man he served under, King Micha III. This job would entail standing guard outside the castle and stopping any intruders trying to make there way in. Some time later he was promoted to the job of Lieutenant, he now had a set of brave men under his control who would stop at nothing to protect each other. They were more of a family than a group of soldiers. Fattah who was an archer, bow at hand with his ice tipped arrows. Reni and Hugo, the two brothers, fighting side by side at all times. Niko, the lone wolf of the group, hadn't spoken a word since he had joined the force. Luka, who was the joker of the group, always seemed to get himself into some sort of trouble. And last but not least William, the most skilled swordsman he had ever laid eyes on, he used his sword like an artist would use his brush, he was swift and elegant. This family of soldiers had such a strong bond that no force, no matter how strong, could stop them.
I fail to mention one member of this family however. Charles, the brains of the group. Charles served beside his brethren up to the year 1899. Which was also the year that Theodore stopped serving. Is this a coincidence you may ask? sadly that is not the case, Charles had met the same faith that Theodore's parents had met. Charles, like Theodore was always on the quest for knowledge, however Charles took it to the extreme, sometimes risking his life for the minuet bit of information. Whilst on duty, Charles seeked information on the notorious Thresh Gang. They were a group of bandits linked to numerous amounts of massed murders and robberies. The 26th of April 1899 was the day that Charles took a step too far, and turned what he thought was intelligence into stupidity. The Thresh Gang had a number of spies around the city, and they had been informed that a member of the Arctic Alliance had been searching the where about's of there hideout. That member of the Arctic Alliance had been none other than Charles himself. Charles knew were the hideout was but had not told the other members of squad about the where about's of the hideout. Charles went it alone thinking he would not be caught and tragically he met his faith.
It was from this day forth that Lt. Theodore Longbottom gave up his position in the Arctic Alliance. There is not one living soul that knows what happened to him after that faithful day but it is believed that he went back to live in the Arctic wild with his true family, the polar-bears...
