Seven years after the war, Marie had obtained the Skull Heart. She used it to torture slavers that tormented her and Patrica (Peacock). However, in the process, she became the Skullgirl. She was able to contine her plan to put the slavers in agony, while being the skullgirl. She joined Double that was a mysterious being that could shapeshift, as well as Valentine, the last of the Last Hope. She set up her base in the catacombs of a local cathedral. Once she knew that people that came from the Canopy Kingdom were searching for her, she waited in her base for people to challenge her.

  She is the final boss of the Arcade Mode of Skullgirls as well as the Story mode (with the exeptions of Squigly and Fukua). Her forms are based off of how much health she has. Like most video game bosses, she will get harder or easier, based on what form you're on.
