Hey Guys! Here with a black Smith o3o! Okay, Well time to get some history done. Another thing........ :3 hope you enjoy!!!! okay, nuff chit chat lets get this going!!

History of Medieval times and Black Smiths!

Black smiths, as you all know where men, who did metal work, ether for weapons or appliances such as knifes or spoons, now black smiths also primarly with steel or wrought iron, meaning that they could make a variety of swords! The name blacksmith, was not a councideness, but more so, told you something about him, the black in blacksmith, refers to the fire scale, a layer of oxides that forms on the surface of the metal during heat. The smith derives from the old word "smite" which means to hit, and thats how blacksmith the name was created!
Now, I will be going into the blacksmithing of medieval times! In the medieval time period, black smithing was consiedered part of the seven mechanical arts.

Village Blacksmith: Lived in a smal rural community making tools, household objects and weapons.
Castle Blacksmith: Lived in the protection of the castle and required to make and maintain the weapons and armour for lords, knights and men-at-arms
City of Town Blacksmith: Lived in a town and belonged to a guild
Monestaries or Abbyes Blacksmith: Monks where also blacksmiths. (Wouldn't have known? :U )

I dont know why I made him depressed, but im a jerk soo... makes sense :I!
^w^! Okay, I will be posting all the websites I used for this information, and the reasons why I didn't make a story is cause.... I find that a blacksmith DOESNT HAVE A STORY! he just stands/sits there, melting things.. I mean like, is there really anything exciting about that? I know Ive stood around and watched a 1 hour blacksmith, craft a knife, but still :I! any ways good day to you guys and IM OUT! PEACE!! :3
