With the lack of patience Morpheus had with Withered, he exploded. The collar stopping him from using his powers came of and so did his cuffs. The limit to all of his power was on his wrists the entire time and he had finally figured it out. Morpheus grew tired of this fight so he leap out at Withered giving one final blow to finish him off. Withered was completely drained, Morpheus took all the energy through one punch near instantly taking the life from Withered, he just fell back and turned into a pile of ash. Morpheus realising had been able to access powers has never even known he had he immediately started practising to get the hang with them.

Not long till a couple of travellers walked by and mentioned to each other how Stanton has somehow returned from the dead. Morpheus took leave at once not knowing where he was off to but decided to trust his instincts.
