Hello! This is my entry for the Dark Depths contest, and I hope you like it!
(I'm currently making some art for it, so stay tuned!)

About the skin (no backstory cause backstories suck and my writing is horrid and backstories are overrated):
When I think of the dark depths of the ocean, I think of something lonely, so I tried to incorporate this into my skin (that's why there's a broken heart on her chest, and why her face is empty). I also think of jellyfish (so there's a jellyfish on her right leg, but it's pretty bad so you can't tell what it is), and glowing things (wow) so I made her dress and hair glow. I used a limited pallet of only 12 colors and added a light-source (why? well, I wanted to challenge myself cause I'm stupid) so tell me what you think!
Please tell me what you think! And wish me luck (since this is horrible and not at ALL related to the topic qwq)! <3
I really like her pose, and the idea of the art (like the jellyfish and whatnot), but I really HATE the way I executed it (the sketch is like a 10000 times more beautiful imo) and I really hate the colors and shading I used. I'll redo it sometime, but I'm too lazy to rn and this is actually fine if you ignore those details (haha how could you ignore them???). I also really hate the heart, cause I just slapped it in there and it's not good at all, but I like the bubbles and the jellyfish for some odd reason...
