Former police officer, Alice Hawethorne just turned one hundred when she received a strange visitor. He was a scientist working for a branch of the government she'd never even heard of. He told her he was looking for volunteers to participate in the new Timeless Project where a team of scientist were attempting to reverse the effects of aging. Longing to return to her glory days, Alice signed up without a second thought. The experiments had many failures. She was in the program for a year before it happened. The experiment worked! Her wrinkled skin smoothed out and her brittle bones strengthened as her cells were reinvigorated leaving only a shock of her old white hair as evidence of her age. The regenerative effects of the experiment didn't just go away either. When she accidentally cut her hand upon the broken glass of a mirror, the cut healed at an amazing rate. Try as they might, the scientists could never recreate their results with Alice and, after spending millions, the Project was shut down.
With a new lease on life and new-found abilities, Alice set out into the world. Her years as a police officer taught her that the law just can't provide enough justice. There's always a loop hole that the worst criminals can slither out of.
