Hello everyone, AnimeFanFTW here, with Skin #5 of my NRL series, and this team is the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks!
Now, the Sharks are an interesting bunch. The Sharks, joining the NRL in 1967, the same year my favorite team, the Penrith Panthers joined, the Sharks have been playing for almost 50 years. And how many premierships have they won?
None.
Yep, the Sharks have never been crowned champions EVER. They did get Runner-Up 3 times, in 1973, 1978 and 1997 (Super League). Heck, in the 1978 Grand Final against the Sea Eagles, the end result was 11-all. In the GF rematch 3 days later, the Sharks got smashed 16-0. They are waiting, ever so patiently, to one day, write their names in NRL history. But for now, they will have to wait. xD
UPDATE: They won the premiership in 2016. Welp, guess their wait is over.
