The story

"Echoman" and his family had recently settled into their new homeland while news anchors and political minds warned of an ever growing threat.As time progressed, the tensions only worsened and solutions to these issues only spawned more problems.The impending doom weighed heavily on the everyday people and large surpluses were being built up.Unfortunately, pressure from the East broke into a war of grand scale.Each waking second marked the death of a man.

"Echoman", along with his wife and son, became deeply afraid of what lerks ahead.Of the three, "Echoman" was the most concerned in his desire to protect his wife and child.He saw the imminent threat of annihilation, as the world witnessed the Hermit Kingdom fulfil it's promise with help from it's allies.Terrorist created havoc in their native lands and abroad.Nations were torn by large scale immigrations- without any restraint on who entered.

Alas,"Echoman"'s horrors arrived.A large flash blinded it's spectators before charing them to oblivion."Echoman", including his family, survived the initial attack but something evil lingered.With the energy released by the bomb,so were the beasts of man.Neighbours now gave hungered gazes at each other and planned for a raids on one another.Friend became foes.

Shortly after the explosion, the debris managed to block the sun out entirely creating a permanment winter.Food began to run low and "Echoman" was tasked with collecting food because his son was critically injured and his wife insisted that she would care for him.Days passed, the boy became a withered skeleton even though he recieved the majority of the food to nurture him.One night, "Echoman" was waken by the sound of a echoing cough.It was the child.The boy's parents rushed to his bedside to see what troubled him.It was clear that he was the first to meet his demise.In the embracing clutches of his mother and father, "Echoman"'s son passed on.

"Echoman" and his wife were burdedned with sorrow.They would often weept together in a orchestra of sadness.Too weak and miserable to carry on, "Echoman" had to watch the frail figure of his wife slowly deteriorate until she could unite with her son.The man, deprived of what he loved so dearly, screamed, echoing in the once inhabited world of his- now left to explore.....
